International Students Information

Candidates seeking admission as international students are required to start the application process at least 5 to 7 months prior to the commencement of the program. This timeline allows for adequate processing of the Study Permit, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and facilitating a smooth transition for incoming students. Initiating the application process well in advance enables thorough preparation and timely submission of required documents, such as academic transcripts, language proficiency test scores, and financial documentation. Additionally, it allows ample time for applicants to address any potential challenges or delays that may arise during the application process. Our institution is committed to providing comprehensive support to international applicants throughout the admissions process.

The student is obliged to submit an authenticated copy of the Transcript of Records. All credentials must be translated into English and must be equivalent to at least Grade 12 level in Canada.

For international students whose English is not their first language. They must take the English Language Proficiency Exam. The exam is called the Pearson Level Test of English Proficiency.

This language assessment tool is offered by Pearson where the College secured a purchase agreement. The test assesses the student in four skills: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. It generates a Global Scale of English (GSE) general score with a Canadian Language Benchmark. The minimum GSE score required by the College is 51 which is equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 7

The student is required to provide the original copy of the Credentials Assessment Results (WES) for submission.
