Maclean Eoin  earned a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1979, majoring in Mathematics with minors in Physics and Psychology. Additionally, he is a Certified Payroll Practitioner from the National Payroll Institute.

With a career spanning over five decades, Maclean has extensive teaching experience in both high school and adult education. From 1970 to 1981, he taught Mathematics and Sciences at the high school level in Saskatchewan. Following this, he dedicated his career to adult education, primarily focusing on Accounting and Payroll programs from 1983 to 2024. Since 1999, he has been teaching CPA/NPI certification courses.

Maclean has a diverse teaching portfolio that includes courses such as Payroll Compliance Legislation, Payroll Fundamentals 1 & 2, Introduction to Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Mathematics GED Upgrading, Human Resources, and Computer Programming Languages. He is proficient in various software, including Simply Accounting (Sage 50), QuickBooks, Accpac (Windows/DOS), Lotus, Excel, WordPerfect, MS Word, and Access.

In addition to teaching, Maclean has developed curricula for several provincially licensed schools and tutored students from SAIT’s Business Administration Program. He has taught all three CPA courses required for PCP certification.

Known for his reliability, Maclean boasts a 99% attendance record over 34 years of employment. He excels in communication, problem-solving, and working both independently and as part of a team. His patience and empathy make him particularly effective in dealing with students. Additionally, he can communicate in Sign Language and has served as president or treasurer on various committees.
